Isabel is a native of Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her sister Nina went to schools along with children from First Nations as well as other cultures. Isabel lives in the Byron Bay area of NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. She was a Drama student at the the Queensland Institute of Technology. She also studied, more recently, the Perdekamp Emotional Method. She did not audition for the roles she was interested in until her agent found herself in the year 2002. She auditioned to be a character in Home and Away (1998). The producers thought she wasn't suitable for the role. They were nevertheless impressed with her performance and gave Tasha an entirely new character. She starred for 3 years as her first television role and received a Logie Award (for new popular talent) for her appearance. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. In 2009, Isabel's breakthrough part was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Since then, she has appeared in numerous US and Australian films, and has won many nominations. Isabel recently played a part as a character in Bosh & Rockit - Ocean Boy, a film which rapidly becoming a mainstay of Australian film. Isabel will also be appearing in the forthcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel completed Sons of Summer recently and is now in preproduction to play Marie Curie's character in Radiant the film of the award-winning director/writer Annika Glac.
